Rice Papad
Zippy Edibles has made rice papad since 2019. Our papad is sheeted and cut: rice flour dough with the spices mixed in is sheeted to an even thickness and cut into 1.5-inch and 3-inch discs, ready to fry. Fresh-mixed spices (not surface coating) and custom embossing make us a fit for private label snack brands and branded retail.

How It’s Made
Flour Preparation & Mixing
Rice flour is mixed with water, salt, and flavor ingredients. For flavored papads, fresh ajwain, jeera, green chilli, or tomato-garlic paste is added directly to the dough - not sprinkled on top.
Sheeting
The dough is sheeted to an even thickness.
Cutting & Sizing
Sheets are cut into 1.5-inch and 3-inch discs. Custom embossing patterns are available for private label customers.
Drying
Papads are dried to the moisture content they need to expand when fried.
Quality Check & Packaging
Production samples are checked for expansion, texture after frying, moisture content, and flavor. Automated VFFS packaging machines handle retail and bulk formats.
