Siddhartha started Zippy with Mr. Rungta in 2015. He manages day to day operations and deals with contract manufacturing clients, both in India and abroad. Siddhartha has completed MBA from IIM Kashipur.
Mr. Rungta is a seasoned businessman of 30 years with experience in rice milling, metal trading & hotel industry. He co-founded Zippy Edibles with Siddhartha. With his experience in trading commodities and running grain businesses in the past, he is responsible for managing procurement which allows Zippy to provide cost effective and timely deliveries to its customers.
Sarthak joined the business in Feburary 2020, after coming back to India from his Design Engineering job at Intel in California, USA. As a trained engineer, he leads new projects, product development and process improvements at Zippy. He completed B.S./M.S in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Techonology, Atlanta.
Udit joined the business in Feburary 2020 after completing his education and brings with him fresh perspective and immense energy. He leads our retail sales and also takes care of contract manufacturing customers
D. B. Marekar
General Manager, Unit 1
Mr. Marekar has been with Zippy since the inception from 2015. He brings with him experience of over 20 years in food industry. Before Zippy, Mr. Marekar was at Haldirams, Bambino & FDC, where he managed pasta, extruded snacks, and spray dried nutraceuticals proudction lines. He has been instrumental in setting high quality parameters at Zippy, especially in the pasta category.
Unit 1 was established in 2015 at Jaspur, Uttarakhand located in the fertile wheat and rice belt of India for easy availability of raw material and clean water. At this facility, we process dry products like pasta, vermicelli, papad, FRK etc.
Unit 2 in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand is a greenfield facility focused on making plant-based meat products. Rudrapur is an industrial town and strategically chosen for good connectivity and easier access of talent. The products made at this facility are reliant on cold-chain logistics and are independent of products produced in Unit 1.
As a drive to be efficient and consious of our enviornment, we pursue various sustainability efforts. Besides a lot of small decisions we make to save resources across the supply chain and in production, here's two efforts specifically geared for enviriomental reasons:
Solar: We have set up a 237kW solar plant at Unit 1 which produces enough electricity to power approximately 450 Indian households.
Rainwater harvesting: We harvest approximately 6 million liters of rainwater from 6000 sq. mt. from both our facilities and add it to groundwater every year.

Incepted in 2015 as a Dry Pasta & Vermicelli Manufacturer, Zippy Edibles began its operations with an understanding that food brands needed a trustworthy manufacturing partner who cared for the quality of products that they would proudly like to own. Since then, owing to demand for innovative products and utilizing expertise in manfuacturing, Zippy Edibles has extended its manufacturing capabilities to include more than 8 product lines and built up area of over 10,000 sq. mt.
Zippy Edibles seeks to partner with food brand owners and institutional suppliers who are looking for reliable and quality conscious food manufacturer who can supply products in medium to large volumes both within and outside India.
With an understanding that some customers are looking for off the shelf products, while others are looking for proprietary formulations, Zippy has set up a pilot scale facility to mimic our production scale setup to work closely with clients, and develop wide range of in-house products to showcase the possibilities of innovative food products.
