After few years of establishing the pasta industry and seeing growth in healthy instant products & quick cook segment, Zippy Edibles commissioned an Instant pasta line from Italy in 2019. This product is available in Instant & Quick Cook format.
Instant Pasta
Launched as a healthier alternatives to Instant Noodles, Zippy's Instant Pasta is available in both cup or pouch format. The pasta is precooked with steam and results in a pasta that can be ready in couple of minutes just by adding hot water.
Advantages of Instant pasta over Instant Noodles include no maida, nonfried, novelty and large potential market. Besides the pasta, we can help customers with seasoning solutions and packaging. Following formats are available:
Formats
Cup pasta, ready in 4 minutes after adding hot water
Pan-cooked pasta, ready in 2 minutes when added to boiling water
Shapes available are fusilli and macaroni
Quick Cook Pasta
Quick cook pasta is perfect for HoReCa and Foodservice sector where cooking time is critical and quality cannot be compromised. We precook our durum pasta with steam to result in a pasta which is much faster to cook.
Substituting regular pasta with quick cook pasta often ends up resulting in significant cost savings for our customers by reducing needs of cooking equipment. If pre-soaked, pasta doesn't need to be boiled and can be cooked simply by heating when serving.
The sensory properties of pasta are also improved due to the pre-cooking step. Call us to know more.
